A relatively new primary school, Alexandra Primary School has garnered its share of strong supporters through its leadership – its principal, Mrs Lim Bee Lay, had formerly helmed Maha Bodhi School, while its vice-principal, Ms Chan Yan Hoon, used to serve in the same post in CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School (Primary).

Seeking to create a caring, safe and stimulating school environment where each child can grow and glow, Alexandra Primary aims to build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, as well as equip its students with the attitude, values and 21st century skills to be future-ready and to engage the world while remaining rooted to Singapore. This is realised through the collaborative efforts of the school, parents, and community partners.

Most importantly, it seeks to build a culture based on a philosophy where:

Every child matters, is unique, and has the potential to make a difference.
Every staff member is an asset, has different strengths, and wants to contribute.
Every parent and community partner is a valuable contributor in nurturing the child to G.L.O.W.
